Growing Healthy Together Prenatal Program

Growing Healthy Together Prenatal Program (GHTPP) is a community-based program operating in Scarborough, funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada under its Canada Prenatal Nutrition Programs (CPNP) and supported by in-kind contributions of a variety of community agencies. GHTPP offers prenatal teaching, nutrition information, food supplements and support to pregnant women experiencing a variety of risk factors linked to low birth weight, including low income, newcomer status, poor nutrition, etc. The program is designed to encourage healthy pregnancies, to reduce the number of infants born with low birth weight, and to support breastfeeding and positive parenting. GHTPP is sponsored by Aisling Discoveries Child and Family Centre and is overseen by a Community Steering Committee comprised of organizations committed to the goals of the program.

GHTPP operates from Aisling Discoveries' Main Office at 325 Milner Avenue, Suite 110, Scarborough, ON M1B 5N1. Currently the program is offered at six sites throughout Scarborough. To access GHTPP services, call 416-321-5464.
