The Centre has a long history of providing mental health consultation and support services to elementary schools in east Toronto. Services may include behaviour management and consultation service to schools regarding children who are experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties in their home, school or community and anti-violence programs such as Buddy Builders or the Caring Community. These programs are planned in collaboration with the school boards based upon their identified needs and available funds.
The program goal is to support children in achieving success in their school and community through consultation to school staff and families and direct service to children within the school setting.
